We use industry standard design software for 3D modelling, and so can provide dimensionally accurate models in a very portable model file. You can provide us with your own 3D CAD models, or we can do the modelling for you.

Imaging and Animation

We use 3D Studio and Photoshop, both industry standard applications, to produce images and animations from 3D CAD models. We can post-process graphics in a variety of ways, including overlaying text annotations or your company logo. You can choose from various image output styles depending on your requirements, including:

• Photo-realistic
• Poster colour
• Hidden line perspective
• Wire-frame

Images and animations can be tailored to suit various target media, including:

• Hardcopy
• Computer screen
• Internet
• Video tape, digital video tape, CD and DVD

Interactive 3D Models

Stand-alone interactive 3D models are produced from the CAD model. Key features of these models include:

• Small file size (usually small enough for use in e-mail or on your web site)
• Stand-alone file (can be used without any software installation – just run the file)
• Interactive navigation (‘walk-through’) of the model using mouse and keyboard
• Custom animations and viewpoints can be saved for presentation
• Print custom viewpoints
• Measure model components
• Manipulate model component colour and other properties
• Add text annotations
• Embed model in office document
• Optional ‘viewer’ software available from vendor (free).
